aaharrison ceramics is owned and operated by Aaron A. Harrison of Houghton, NY.
Harrison was a graduate of Houghton College in Houghton, NY and went on to achieve his MFA in ceramics in sculpture from Marywood University in Scranton, PA. After working for a production pottery in upstate New York Harrison struck out on his own and opened aaharrison ceramics in 2009. Along with maintaining the pottery business he is a father of four, and Assistant Professor of Art at Houghton College.
His pieces focus on a balance between minimal elegance and functional design, and birds have always been an inspiration. aaharrison ceramics always strives to present pieces that are finely, hand-fashioned.
